Tetra Tech and International Resources Group Joint Venture Wins USAID Worldwide Water Resources Contract

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 8, 2004--Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTEK - News) and International Resources Group Ltd. (IRG) announced today that their Joint Venture (JV) team was awarded a $2.0 billion Integrated Water and Coastal Resources Management (IWCRM) contract with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Five large business teams will share in the aggregate contract ceiling for this five-year, indefinite-quantity contract. The contract is one of the largest ever awarded by USAID and is also the largest contract ceiling awarded to either JV partner.

The JV will provide technical assistance and engineering services for water and coastal management projects in developing countries around the world. The contract scope includes institutional strengthening; policy and legal program support; technical program support; information exchange, performance monitoring and evaluation; assessment and analysis; engineering design; and strategic planning. Work will be closely coordinated with host country government institutions and other stakeholders in water and coastal resources management.
