New Antidegradation Implementation Procedure guidance document for the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection developed for West Virginia
As part of its ongoing effort to help states implement water quality standards, Tt developed the Antidegradation Implementation Procedure guidance document for the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection. The guidance outlines review procedures for permits or certifications covering activities which might degrade water quality, such as those issued under the NPDES, Section 404, or Section 401 programs. Tt has supported the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in developing National Management Measures for the Control of Nonpoint Pollution from Agriculture. This document provides technical information to state program managers and other on the best available, economically achievable means of reducing NPS pollution of surface and ground water from agriculture.
